Welcome to the forest

“A forest is something to nurture. Not to win, but so the play may continue.”

Like a forest—a place that grows organically and diversely. This is rentarohayashi’s garden: a place to nurture profile, journey so far, and vision for what comes next.

Someone in the forest

About

Named “forest” after 林 (hayashi—forest). A forest is where diverse life grows and supports one another. In the same way, I want to nurture my own profile and activities, little by little.

Your background, interests, and what you care about—feel free to write as you like.

What I'm doing now

Like tending a forest, daily activities are built up little by little.

  • Work / Study

    Activity title 1

Add a short description—work, research, hobbies, or what you’re focused on right now.

  • Side Project

    Activity title 2

Side projects, personal work, or community involvement.

  • Interest

    Activity title 3

Areas of interest or things you want to explore further.

Vision for what's next

“A finite game is played for the purpose of winning. An infinite game for the purpose of continuing the play.” — James P. Carse

Inspired by the spirit of the Infinite Garden, I want to value “continuing” itself—not winning or losing.

What kind of forest (world) do you want to nurture? What technologies and communities do you want to be part of, and what do you want to leave behind? Write freely.
